Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how GymForge Labs (“we”, “us”) handles personal data when you use the GymForge website and mobile app (together, the “Service”).

1. Data we collect

Account data: name, email address, password (hashed), and optional profile photo.
Fitness profile: goal, experience, training days, gender, age range, height, weight, equipment and other answers you give us to build your plan.
Activity data: workouts, sets, weights, personal records, measurements and photos you log in the app.
Technical data: device type, app version, approximate location derived from IP, crash logs and usage analytics.
Website leads: the email and quiz answers you submit on our join page.

2. How we use it

We use your data to generate and adapt your training plan, track your progress, send reminders you opt into, provide customer support, improve the Service, and (with consent where required) send product updates and tips. We do not sell personal data.

3. Health data

If you connect Apple Health or Google Fit, we only read and write the data types you approve. Health data is never used for advertising and can be disconnected at any time in Settings.

4. Sharing

We share data with service providers who host our infrastructure, process payments, send email and collect analytics, each bound by contract to protect it. We may disclose data when required by law. Leaderboards and groups show your name, avatar and workout counts to the members you choose to share with.

5. Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account from Settings at any time; we remove personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us at support@gymforge.example to exercise these rights.

7. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.

9. Changes

We will post any changes on this page and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email.
